#6. February Update

Published by Lucy on Tuesday 13th March 2018

Hi everybody!

How are you all? We hope you've had a lovely month. We're making some great progress with the app and we're very excited to share it with you. So here's our monthly update from our developer, Sam; > The launch of the pre-signup service has gone very smoothly. As this uses much of the same code that the app will use, it's been very helpful for identifying potential issues. So thanks to everyone that has signed up.

We've also been able to run the app against the pre-signup service and this has allowed us to eliminate a few more glitches.

We are happy to say that we're now ready to begin BETA testing. In the next few weeks, emails will begin going out to those people who've signed up to be a BETA tester and we'll begin to work with them to test the app!

If you want to receive the update along with some amazing featured bloggers straight to you inbox, make sure you sign up to our newsletter here.

Have a wonderful day,

Lucy

#5. January Update

Published by Lucy on Monday 22nd January 2018

Happy New Year!

We hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas break, and has started the year nicely. We are very excited for what this may bring, as 2018 is the year we will be launching Bleet.

In case you missed it in our newsletter, here is an update from our developer Sam;

In the last month or so, we have been focused on creating and testing our pre-signup system. We want everyone who uses Bleet to know they're interacting with real bloggers. The pre-signup system allows us to start registering users and verifying them ahead of time. Once the app is out, you'll be able to login using the same information! Additionally, we've been working hard, as always, to iron out bugs and put the finishing touches on the app. We're approaching time for BETA testing, so keep your eyes open for further announcements.

That's right guys, you can now create your profile for the app! This way, we can verify you and once the app comes out, you will be able to login straight away without having to create another profile.

You can sign up on our website!

Have a wonderful day,

Lucy.

#4 December Update

Published by Sam on Wednesday 3rd January 2018

Happy New Year!

Now, we know it's January, and this update is titled "December Update", but better late than never, right? December was a busy month, to say the least. We do apologize for the delay.

So here is our monthly update from Sam, our developer;

I'm ecstatic that at the beginning of December, I was able to send a message to Lucy informing her that I've put a feature freeze on Bleet. What this means is that all features that we agreed upon in our meetings have now been implemented into the app and that we've entered into the first bug-testing phase.

For any app company, this is a huge step, it effectively means (for version one) that there's no more "hard work" to do. The first bug-testing phase is an several-week-long, intense, in-house procedure where as a team we go through all of the implemented features and ensure they're behaving as we expect and fix anonmalies.

The most exciting thing about this is that after we've completed this step, we're going to begin contacting those people who've signed up to be a BETA tester and ask them to try out the app.

We're glad to announce that we can finally put something of a time frame on the app. Bleet is coming in 2018.

Decembers update was an exciting one for us. We're so happy with the progress we're making, thank you to everyone for your support.

If you want to receive January's update straight to your inbox, make sure you're subscribed to our newsletter. Not only does it include our update, but it also includes an interview from a featured blogger, and four other bloggers that we select each month. You won't want to miss out.

#3. November Update

November App Update

Happy November!

We hope you're all having an amazing month so far, are you excited for Christmas?

So, like every month, our newsletter went out a couple of weeks ago that included an update on our progress with the app. Although you won't get all the amazing content that you'd get if you were signed up to our newsletter (Sign up here) like our featured bloggers, we do share the progress with you here too.

An update from Sam, our developer;

Recent weeks have been very exciting for Bleet development! As the app begins to take shape I'm getting a clearer and clearer view of the end product. I've been in discussions with other developers to discuss the approach we're taking to development and responses have been very positive. Whilst we're a way off from the finished app, we're very confident in the steps we've made thus far. Additionally, we've also established a "game-plan" as far as BETA testing is concerned (which we weren't initially sure we going to do) so we'll be contacting those who've opted in to our BETA test scheme in future.

We love sharing updates, so make sure you're subscribed to our newsletter to receive them straight to your inbox before we publish them here.

There is also a press release available upon demand, if that is something you'd like please don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll send one right over.

#2 - October Update

Published by Lucy on Tuesday 17th October 2017

Happy Halloween everyone,

We hope you're having a great month so far, we are. We've made a lot of progress with the app that we are eager to share with you guys. Of course, if you're subscribed to our newsletter, you would have received this update in your inbox a couple of weeks ago along with our interview with PaleGirlRambeling and some other featured bloggers. Which is why you should definitely subscribe, and not miss the next one.

For those who did miss it though, here is an update from our Developer, Sam:

The focus in the last few weeks has been on optimizing the code that we have and ensuring we're using the best technologies. This has involved rewriting some portions of it to make sure that what we're building off of in future is stable. Whilst anything can change in terms of code and development, I'm optimistic that I'm heading in the right direction for a good, beta-testable app. I honestly can't wait to take the app live and start seeing people interacting.

Thank you so much to everyone for your support, without you the app would not be possible. Make sure you keep spreading the word, the more people that know about it, the higher the chance of you meeting a local blogger.

You can also subscribe to our newsletter here if you'd like to receive the next update, featuring some amazing bloggers, to your inbox.

Thank you,

Lucy
